Scottish Historical Item |
A historical item based on the visit of King George IV to Edinburgh Castle exactly 150 years ago in August, 1822. This depicts the arrival of King George IV at the Castle, preceded by the Honours of Scotland - the Crown, the Sceptre and the Sword of State. It has been impossible to produce on the Castle Esplanade the complete procession, but we have produced for you the most colourful.
