Scottsh Historical Item

A historical item based on the installation of Lord George Hamilton as Constable, Governor and Captain of Foot, Edinburgh Castle, in 1714. The Castle Guard is being provided on this occasion by 4th Bn The Royal Anglian Regiment, the successors of the 17th of Foot (Wightman's Regiment), who at this period of time were garrisoning Edinburgh Castle. The Guard-of-Honour, dressed in the uniform of Wightman's Regiment, is being provided by personnel of the 1st Bn Queen's Own Highlanders.
