SEE THIS YEAR'S SPECTACULAR QUEEN'S GOLDEN JUBILEE TATTOO BEFORE ANYONE ELSE AT HALF THE NORMAL PRICE

A limited number of half price tickets for the Thursday, August 1 preview performance of this year's Taftoo will go on sale from the Tattoo Ticket Sales Office on Edinburgh's Market Street at 10am on Monday July 22 2002. Tickets may also be obtained by telephone (08707 555 118) using a credit/debit card (a booking fee of £2.00 will be applied per transaction).

Seat prices for this performance range from £4.50 to £12.50. Normal admission charges for the 24 2002 Tattoo performances, scheduled to take place from August 2-24, are £9.00 to £25.00.

Announcing the money-saving offer the Tattoo's Chief Executive and Producer, Brigadier Melville Jameson said, "This is a superb opportunity to see this special Queen's Golden Jubilee Tattoo at half the normal price"

Special attractions at this year's Tattoo include the first appearance of Tonga's Royal Corns of Musicians, a 100-strong Commonwealth Highland Dance troupe, an Indian Cultural group from Imphal, the Tri Service Bands of the Royal Marines, Scots Guards and Royal Air Force, together with the incomparable sound of the Massed Pipes & Drums.
